  Messiest check in I've ever had. The woman, one of the owners I presume, went to the back with my passport and credit card and took forever to come out again. It later turned out she booked us for one night (while we made reservations for two in advance) as well as doing some random calculations with "tax", so we ended up with a higher rate per night. After some complaining from our side she proceeded to book us an extra night for the original rate per night we booked it for, but still added a random tax percentage, all while switching to help customers at the liquor store in between. She then gave us the keys to our room and a bucket of ice. Just what we needed... Overall it looks like a worn out motel, run by a variety of unorganized, but nice (I admit) people. I wouldn't recommend staying here, there are plenty more motels in Ely that seem like better and more professionally organized places to stay.
